PERSONAL TRAINING

 Do you need one on one motivation to workout and develop healthy habits? I am currently studying to become certified as a personal trainer.  If you are interested in losing weight, training for an event, or getting in the best shape possible I would love to help you.  

 
Prices are as follows:     $20 per one hour session (workout only)
                                     $30 per one hour session (workout and nutritional guidance)

These are at a discounted rate until I obtain my certification.  I am blessed with a very flexible schedule and am willing to train you at your convenience.

Spinning ClassesIndoor Cycling

This is an indoor cycling class designed to improve cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength. You may have heard indoor cycling classes are extremely hard and will kick your butt.  Don't be scared off by what you have heard!!  I will help you build a strong aerobic base before we take the class up a notch, ensuring that you will be ready for the challenge.  Yes- your butt may be sore the first few times but you will quickly get over it and soon understand why it is so addicting!  Class is set to fun, motivating music and will provide a variety of terrain (hills, flat road, speed drills).  Proper alignment, body mechanics and goal specific training will be taught in this class. 

I will take you on a fun ride while giving you a challenging workout!

Note: Due to the limited amount of bikes (6) I only have two bikes with clip-in pedals.  First come, first serve for clip-in bikes.  You will also need to bring comfortable tennis shoes in case those bikes are taken.   Also, please wear breathable, comfortable clothes- your gonna get sweaty!!!

I have to ask that you reserve a bike in advance and commit to class so that everyone has a bike when they come.  Reservations can be made through email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. , texting or calling me @ (801) 918-9285, or in the reservation book in the gym (9 days in advance).  Sometimes there is a waiting list for classes.  Don't be afraid of putting your name on there- with all the excuses I've heard chances are you will probably get a bike! 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

All Cycling classes will be by reservation only.
 
A reservation MUST be cancelled 12 hours before class starts.  If it is not cancelled before that 12 hour period your card will be punched.  No exceptions- no excuses.  I cannot be the judge of a valid excuse.  Sleeping in is not a valid excuse!

 
If you just simply do not show up for class your card will be punched and you MUST pay $8 or choose to have your card punched 2 additional times before putting your name on a list for another class.  If you have a reservation for another class and I have a waiting list I will give your spot to someone else unless I receive the $8 ASAP after your missed class.  You may text me anytime before class starts to let me know you are not coming (801-918-9285) but after class starts I will not take cancellations.  Please be respectful of those on the waiting list and allow enough time when cancelling during the 12 hour window for me to contact them and allow them time to get to class.  If you get sick during the night send me a text no matter what the hour (my ringer is off) and let me know you will not be coming. 

 
You must have at least one punch on your card  to put your name on a list.  No exceptions. 


This policy is due to the fact that I often have waiting lists for bikes and I plan classes based on your abilities and class size.  Often riders on the waiting list miss out on class because someone didn't show up for a bike.  Please extend the same courtesy to other riders as you would expect by giving them sufficent notice to ride if they are on the waiting list. 

I know life happens and things come up.  I will be more understanding if you help me by respecting this policy.
